Halloween is one of the most eventful times in any one’s childhood. And why not? Dressing up, treats, and being with fellow kids are but enough reasons to make any kid and even a kid at heart excited.

Of course Halloween decorations and displays whether in homes or commercial areas are also often anticipated by kids and their parent. Lights play a big role in illuminating the Halloween displays and in making the decors look a lot spookier.

In California though, one neighborhood missed a yearly Halloween synchronized light show display as reported by Fox News.

“This is a major Halloween bummer for people in Riverside, California. Police shut down a popular event in which a house was turned into a 12,000-light show. YouTube is filled with videos from residents who had flocked to Kevin Judd’s house in years past for the synchronized light-and-music show. Judd put on the show from 2008 to 2011, then had to stop in response to a rule by his homeowners association. This year’s show was being held at a friend’s house. Police, however, shut down the show after getting complaints from neighbors about noise, blocked roads and spectators watching from other residents’ lawns.”

Star Wars Themed Halloween Light Décor

Master Electrician Star wars fans may want Halloween lights like the porch lights that have been featured over at Nerdist.com. “The Darth Vader and stormtrooper helmet covers are plastic and fit over your 60 watt or less bulb with an elastic band. You might have to cut them down to properly fit your porch light fixture. And I recommend sticking with the light bulb guidelines on this one because cleaning melted plastic off the porch and/or trick-or-treaters doesn’t sound like anyone’s idea of a good time.”
